Meet Your Postpartum Doula
Hi, I’m Ashlee,
I am the heart behind Refuge Maternal Wellness and I’m so glad you’re here.
For the past three years, I’ve had the privilege of caring for others as a Certified Nursing Assistant. Through that experience, I discovered something that has shaped the path I am on today: some of the most meaningful care happens in life’s quiet, ordinary moments.
As a postpartum doula, my passion is walking alongside mothers and families during one of the biggest transitions they’ll ever experience. While so much attention is placed on caring for the new baby, I believe mothers deserve to be cared for too.
Growing up with six siblings taught me the value of showing up for one another with patience, compassion, and a willingness to help wherever it’s needed. Those lessons continue to shape the way I care for every family I have the honor of serving.
Weather I’m answering newborn questions, helping you gain confidence in your new role, preparing a meal, folding laundry, or simply offering a listening ear, my goal is always the same; to create a safe space where you feel supported, understood, and never alone.
